Butter Beer Bread

Simple, easy, and DELICOUS!

Butter Beer Bread (obtained from a technique class from William-Sonoma)

  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 can beer (12 oz.)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

mix all ingredients  together except for the melted butter.  Place batter in greased/buttered pan and pour the melted butter over the top. Bake at 375 F degrees for approx. 1 hour, depending on pan.

Buttery deliciousness!!!

    Hi Katie – I made your ‘Butter Beer Bread’ yesterday for Supper. I made some chicken noodle soup and i wanted some bread to go with it. I used a can of Miller Beer in the bread. It smelled so good baking in the oven – I couldn’t wait until it was done so I could try it. I was not disappointed – it was very good, the butter of course even made it better! I am going to make this again but next time I will use a bottle of dark beer and see what that will taste like in the bread.
